ESP has some very exciting news to share! Out of 500 nominations, ESP is extremely grateful to have been chosen to be in the final running for $20,000! The competition is part of the Renewal Awards, a project brought to you by The Atlantic and Allstate.

The nationwide competition aims to recognize local organizations driving positive change in their communities and who are bringing progress to the country. The Atlantic and Allstate wants to bring to light solutions to challenges faced by communities around the country.

This nationwide project went through many applicants and picked their top five organizations that embodied a set of categories best. The categories are youth empowerment, community action, ingenuity, neighborhood revitalization and self-starter. ESP was categorized under community action, which means creating change and opportunity for underserved communities. We couldn’t agree more with the Renewal Awards! Between serving 300 families of children with developmental disabilities, our 360 programs, NKA and Club outings, Java Joy, family support and weeks of camp, we feel like ESP perfectly represents community action.

If ESP wins, the $20,000 will go towards camp which will make a huge difference! 20 campers will be able to go to camp and the money will help provide supplies for fun and adaptive activities.

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP! Vote online now at: https://www.theatlantic.com/renewal-awards/

Voting ends on Friday, February 17th so be sure to tell all of your friends and family to vote! $20,000 is a huge deal and it’ll assist us to bring magic and happiness to camp. Winners will be announced in March.
