So where have I decided to go?? That’s easy because you already know! I am so excited to say that I am now a part of the ESP family! This has been quite a journey for me. I feel like have lived all over these great states of America from working in Memphis Tennessee at the Children’s Hospital to Utah at the National Ability Center then back to Georgia at Camp Twin Lakes then all the way to our nation’s capitol to work at Pediatric Rehabilitation Hospital! Goodness gracious that is a lot of moving BUT I am so glad to be finally settling down back here in my home state, Georgia.
I cannot wait to begin this journey with each of you this summer because I must admit this is going to be the best summer yet! I have learned so much from all the places that I have worked and I am so thankful that you have decided to share your child with me. Being a Child Life Specialist and a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist is awesome because I get the best of both worlds having a “big girl” job and getting to work with each camper that walks through the door. What I am most looking forward to this summer is getting the opportunity to work with your child, to help them learn and grow, and to help your child reach goals they never thought possible.
We have so many experiences planned for your camper this summer. A tug of war pit where they can get down and dirty in the mud as they compete for bragging rights! A stop by the arts and crafts area where they can truly express their creativity. Heading on over to the Zumba class and learning how to move their bodies! There will be something for everyone to participate in and plenty of opportunities to try something new! Because let’s be honest that’s what camp is all about! Camp is such a special place, and I love that I will be able to make memories with your child and share that oh so special camp bond!
Of all the places I’ve been, this is the best that I’ve seen. We are off to great places with the most beautiful ESP faces!
