As I transition into my role at esp, I am leaving almost 5 years of working as a high school special education teacher in the self-contained setting. I have both my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Special Education and am finishing up my Ed.S. as I work toward my PhD, also in Special Education. My focus has always been on the quality of life for individuals with disabilities as they get older, so esp’s mission is something I feel to my core. Prior to beginning my teaching venture, I was in the Navy and loved my time as an F/A-18 mechanic. I’m married to my husband Mike, who’s also a special education teacher, and we have three incredible children.
