Join Our Team

Join us in our mission to create opportunities for people with disabilities and their families to engage, connect, and thrive! ESP wouldn’t be the same without the program interns, administrative assistants, and AmeriCorps members that work every day to create enriching experiences for our participants. If you have a passion for serving others and in interest in special education and non-profit work, we encourage you to apply to be a part of the ESP crew!

Summer Communications Internship

Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Communications, the Summer Communications Intern will assist in: promoting and documenting ESP’s largest program, Summer Camp and sharing the ESP mission with stakeholders. This position is best suited for a creative self-starter looking to actively engage with ESP’s mission and create compelling content in support of that mission. Interns have the opportunity to work collaboratively with fellow interns and summer staff to propel many of ESP’s initiatives while enjoying a summer camp environment! The unpaid internship will last for one semester through the Summer.

Development Team Internships

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, Development Team Interns will assist in the administration of various philanthropic projects at ESP and help grow and sustain the engagement of our donors. Development Team Interns will assist in annual giving administration, donor appreciation, grant proposal writing, donor events and event management, volunteer development, corporate partnerships, and other development-related needs. The interns will work closely with the Project Manager, the Executive Director, and other full-time ESP staff and interns to create cohesive development strategies that align with our mission. These internships are great opportunities for those interested in nonprofit administration, fundraising and development, and those willing to learn and grow.
