Families searching for disability support programs, community resources, or meaningful opportunities for their loved ones find a trusted home at ESP. For nearly 40 years, we’ve offered programs for people with disabilities that strengthen confidence, create a sense of belonging, and surround families with support. From after-school experiences to summer camp and employment pathways, we help individuals of all abilities thrive across every stage of life.

The ESP Way
How We Create Impact
The ESP way centers around the whole person and the whole family. Our programs create member opportunities for growth, connection, and purpose through engaging experiences regardless of disability or age.
Experiences
Programs that build confidence, independence, and social connection through movement, creativity, learning, and play. Families looking for year-round programs for their loved one with a disability will find numerous opportunities for every age and ability.
Support
Family support is community driven and rooted in warmth and belonging. From family dinners to caregiver resources and sibling programs to weekly and monthly gatherings, our support programs strengthen community connection with other families.
Purpose
Employment and skill-building pathways — like Java Joy and SEEABILITY — that help people with disabilities develop workplace confidence and have meaningful employment, while spreading joy to their communities.

ESP serves families across Georgia and the Triad region of North Carolina through community-based programs for people with disabilities, family support resources, and opportunities for engagement regardless of age, disability, or financial ability.

All Experiences
At ESP we have experience programs for members who live near a community as well as a Member+ option for those further away
Afternoon Programs
Year-round programs that spark growth through music, art, movement, cooking, and community outings. Designed to strengthen confidence and independent skills in a joyful, supportive environment.
Java Joy
Meaningful employment for people with disabilities through our statewide coffee carts and on-site service trailers. Joyristas pour out coffee and hugs to deliver unmatched hospitality while developing workplace skills and real community connection.
Summer Camp
A high-energy summer experience designed for people of all abilities and built for fun! Weekly campers explore creativity, nature, movement, and friendship in an environment built for connection, laughter, and fun with their buddy.

Seasonal gatherings and family events that strengthen connection and celebrate abilities across our communities.
