ESP Core Value: Connecting the Unconnected

Katie has worked in nonprofit organizations for thirteen years, including health and human services organizations, higher education, and faith-based hospital foundations. She has experience building strategic partnerships, recruiting volunteers, creating events, and stewarding donors. She is thrilled to be leading the team in creating transformative experiences for families throughout Savannah!

A big part of Katie’s “why” is her own family connection: She has a cousin who has Down syndrome, and she knows the importance and value of creating a community in addition to family. She is an active member of the Metropolitan Savannah Rotary Club, and she and her husband live in Midtown Savannah. They are a house divided: Katie attended the University of South Carolina, while her husband, Robert, attended the University of Alabama!

Katie is a celebrator by nature—whether it’s a birthday, promotion, new house, graduation, or other milestone, Katie is always down to celebrate with bells and whistles on!
