About Jake Sapp

Innovating Possibilities- Excited to continue developing ways for all members of the ESP to contribute to the health of the organization!
I began my time with ESP as a student at the University of Georgia in 2011 and graduated in 2013. Over the years, I’ve been involved in countless programs and events, with my last stint serving as Programs Director — a role that deepened my passion for building connections and creating moments of joy for our participants and families. Most recently, I founded Peach State Lite, a Georgia-based beer brand inspired by classic American lagers, while continuing to work in my family’s business, Modern Body Shop.
Now serving as ESP’s Director of Purpose, I’m thrilled to be back in a full-time capacity, combining creativity, community engagement, and mission-driven work. My wife (Annie Kate), our son (Cubby), and I love spending time outdoors, hosting friends and family, and enjoying all that Athens has to offer. It’s an honor to work alongside our incredible staff, volunteers, and participants to help make every day the best day ever.
