Catherine comes to ESP with a background in education and a passion for making a positive impact on the local community as well as advocating for disability awareness. She dedicated nearly two decades to supporting students inside and outside the classroom as a teacher and coach. She is also a special needs mother to her daughter, Abigail, who is on the autism spectrum. As a program manager at ESP, She has experience in corporate camp management and educational leadership assisting her in leading a dynamic team of coordinators and others to create the program and family experiences at ESP Athens.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with Kiwanis Club of Athens and at Bethlehem Church, taking trips with her family of five, and fulfilling her desire to be a lifelong learner. She and her husband, Chris, also own and operate a few local small businesses.
Catherine grew up in Georgia in a large family with four brothers, one of which is special needs as well.
