Carol’s professional background is best described as eclectic—she has worked across non-profit, corporate, faith-based, and higher education settings. She holds a BA in Journalism, an MBA, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education, giving her a well-rounded view on communication, leadership, and service. Career highlights include managing consumer textile brands, teaching business to small business owners and community college students, founding a community meal program, and serving as a spiritual director. Her love of both creative expression and analytical thinking makes marketing a perfect fit.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys time with her husband, their four amazing kids, friends, and their dog, Luna. Together they enjoy live music, traveling, trying new restaurants and recipes, and outdoor adventures like hiking, kayaking, and boating. Carol also finds joy in reading, writing poetry, and painting and is always ready to explore something new.
Carol first joined esp as a part-time staff writer and was quickly drawn in by the mission, the passionate team, and the inspiring individuals the organization serves. After witnessing the powerful impact esp has on so many lives, she felt called to join the team full time.
