Kate has served ESP in a variety of roles, including volunteer, summer staff member, and intern, before graduating from the University of Georgia in May 2025. In her current role at ESP Athens, she focuses on recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, guided by a commitment to creating meaningful experiences for both members and volunteers.
Kate was drawn to ESP through her relationship with her younger brother, Lucas, who has Down syndrome. Growing up alongside him fostered a deep passion for the community ESP serves and the values at the heart of its mission.
Kate’s ideal day would be spent at the beach, enjoying fresh strawberries and reading an Elin Hilderbrand novel under the sun.
