esp Athens Leadership Experience

*The new volunteer age requirement is 14 years old. Those too young to volunteer are invited to come be a part of Leadership Experience! (ages 8-13, or rising 3rd graders – 8th graders)

The Leadership Experience is an amazing opportunity for those too young to volunteer to learn how to become leaders, friends, and advocates for people of all abilities. esp is looking for typically developing students in our community who have a desire for engaging and inspiring leadership experiences!

• They will learn how to encourage/celebrate, communicate, and engage with people of all abilities
• They will receive ability awareness and inclusion training
• ESP will foster leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
• It will assist the kids in creating a passion for serving in the future and creating inclusivity in their schools.

This summer will look slightly different in the sense that we will have elementary and middle school kids together for one week. This will encourage our middle school students to step up as leaders and mentor their younger peers!
