About Barbara Elmore

Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education from Kennesaw State University in 2018 and went on to complete her Master of Public Health at Georgia State University in 2020. During her graduate studies, she worked at the Student Health Promotion department at GSU and volunteered at Grady Memorial Hospital, experiences that deepened her commitment to serving others. After graduation, she joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she supported emergency readiness and response efforts.
Guided by her faith and a strong foundation in public health, Barbara is passionate about promoting equity, inclusion, and advocating for all people. She resonates deeply with esp’s value of Connecting the Unconnected and believes that everyone deserves the chance to be seen, heard, and supported.
Outside of work, Barbara enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, discovering new restaurants, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends.
