Core Value: Connecting the unconnected. For me it is an extreme honor to be entrusted with the lives and stories of others and to have the ability to showcase the beauty of their unique individuality.
Jennifer studied both Bible and Urban Missions at Davis College and City Vision University. A native NYer, she spent the first twenty years of her career in hospitality, managing restaurants throughout New York State. At the age of 40, her life took a dramatic turn and she wholeheartedly threw herself into full time ministry. Moving to the city of Indianapolis, she embarked on a full time career in the non profit sector working with both adults and youth dealing with homelessness, addiction and incarceration. This is where her passion to advocate for the overlooked people of our society was ignited.
While in Indianapolis, Jennifer met and married the love of her life, David, and together they have embarked on ministry together. From church and reentry ministry, to social enterprise, to couples and family ministry, and restaurant leadership, they approach everything as a team. In 2021, they moved to Savannah, GA to pursue becoming owner/operators of Chick fil A. While David is still pursuing that dream, Jennifer decided to step away from her role as the Director of Operations and answer the call to become the Executive Director of esp Savannah. Jennifer has a beautiful step daughter named Sabryn who will be heading to college in the fall of 2025 to pursue psychology and dance, and Jennifer and David also have a very animated Boston Terrier named Oswald, who likes to make his presence known in any virtual meeting being held.
Jennifer’s esp why: We were not created to do life alone, and I believe through our connectivity, we are truly able to thrive in our purpose. Watching the transformation that takes place within a person who is seen and loved for who they are, combined with the change that takes place within society when we are challenged to think outside of the box is truly the most rewarding result.
